On a rooftop in Brooklyn, One in the morning and you said something that I’ve never forgotten

As spectacular as Manhattan is, I didn’t even think about taking some time to visit Brooklyn, which is really a shame since I loved the little bit I got to see. I loved the stroll we took every day from the hotel to the subway station, walking down Smith Street, filled with cafés, restaurants and shops, some very quirky. On Mother’s day we had breakfast on a half French, half Mexican restaurant and we had dinner several times in a very cozy Thai restaurant where the food was exquisite. We bought some yarn balls for a friend from a shop entirely devoted to knitting, we went shopping to the Atlantic center looking for a leather jacket and I took many pictures from those pretty apartment buildings where I could visualize how cool it would be to live in one day.
